Who we are

This site is operated by Faber & Co. London LTD, a boutique interior procurement and interior concierge business based in London and working internationally. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17445769, with our registered office at 3rd Floor, 45 Albemarle Street, Mayfair, London W1S 4JL, United Kingdom. What cookies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which works in much the same way. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we may only place non-essential cookies on your device with your consent, and we must make declining as easy as accepting.

The categories we use

Strictly necessary — always active

Required for the site to function: secure page delivery and remembering the cookie choice you make here. Your preference is stored in your browser's local storage under faberandco.cookie-consent and stays until you change it or clear your browser. No consent is required for these, and they cannot be switched off.

Functional — consent required

Allows embedded third-party content to load. On our home page this is the Instagram feed, served by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Until you consent, the feed is not loaded and Instagram receives nothing. Once loaded, Instagram may set its own cookies and will receive your IP address.

Performance and marketing — consent required

Reserved for measuring the performance of future campaigns. We do not currently run any marketing or advertising cookies, and no advertising or tracking scripts load if you reject them. If this changes, this policy will be updated before they are used.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or manage each category individually. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link, which is in the footer of every page. Rejecting is as straightforward as accepting, and if you reject, no marketing, advertising or embedded third-party content is loaded. You can additionally block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Visitor statistics without cookies

We like to know which pages are of interest, so we keep a simple count of page views in our own records. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service. No cookie is set, nothing is stored on your device, and we do not use fingerprinting, visitor identifiers or session identifiers. For each page view we record only the page address, the website that referred you (the domain name alone), whether the screen is mobile, tablet or desktop sized, and your browser language. We do not store your IP address alongside this and the records cannot be linked back to you or to any other page view you make. Because nothing is placed on your device and no personal data is collected, this needs no consent, and there is therefore nothing to switch off in your cookie settings.

Fonts and hosting

The typefaces used on this site are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service, so no font provider receives your details. Our site is delivered through our hosting provider, which processes technical request data such as IP address for security and delivery purposes.

Personal information we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. Through our contact form that is your name, email address and the details of your enquiry. Through our guest-list form it is your name, email address and profession. If you email us directly, we hold the contents of that correspondence. Our site does not require an account and we do not ask for payment details online.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to discuss and deliver our services, and — if you have registered interest — to let you know about our gatherings. Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and managing our client relationships. We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Who else is involved

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through our email delivery provider, and our website and its backend are run by our hosting and platform providers. These providers process your information on our instructions only, for the purpose of delivering the message and running the site. Where information is processed outside the UK, it is protected by the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and guest-list details only for as long as they are needed for your enquiry or our ongoing relationship, and then delete them. We review what we hold periodically. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, to withdraw consent where we rely on it, and to ask for it in a portable form. Write to office@faberandco.com and we will respond within one month.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the way we use cookies or handle personal information changes, and will revise the date above when we do.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we use cookies or handle your information, please tell us first at office@faberandco.com so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk, by calling 0303 123 1113, or by writing to Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
